I am a wildlife biologist by day and a spider rancher by night. I have always had a soft spot for the unloved critters of the world. I have over 20 years of experience keeping and breeding reptiles and invertebrates. in 2022 I started to focus on the “medically significant” species like widows, recluse, and sand spiders. while I don’t know for sure I suspect that i maintain the largest collection of venomous spiders in the US with well over 200 individuals in my collection.
